Dare Tunmise

Dare is a software engineer. He currently works at Vamoos, a London-based travel technology company, where he works across backend systems, infrastructure and AI-powered products.

At Findr, he does engineering — from the core registry and verification systems to the public developer API and the infrastructure that allows other platforms to access verified missing-person information.

He is particularly interested in building software that connects structured data, search and real-world systems. For Findr, that means thinking carefully about how information is collected, verified, searched and shared while keeping personal data to what is necessary.

Outside software, Dare is a poet and essayist. His chapbook, A Failed Attempt at Undoing Memories, was selected and published by Akashic Books as part of the New Generation African Poets series.
